NeedleworkDiscount.com is an extension of our brick and mortar store in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Many of our customers travel to Myrtle Beach and purchase their needlework materials with us when they arrive. By providing a web presence, we hope to make this a simpler exercise for our current customers, and for our future customers.
Our store in Myrtle Beach, the Frame of Mind, was formed in 1985 as a custom picture framing shop. The needlework was added to the inventory during the summer of 2007. Combining needlework and custom framing was always our desire. When the owner of the needlework shop located a couple of blocks away (who was also our customer) came by to tell us they were closing and asked if we would like to purchase their remaining inventory, we enthusiastically said yes.
We initially carried needlepoint handpainted canvas, Splendor silk thread, Accentuate thread, Treasure Braid and a smattering of other specialty threads, Paternayan yarn, DMC Pearl Cotton, and a few kits. We have restocked these items, and have added cross stitch patterns, blank needlepoint canvas, aida cross stitch cloth, linen cross stitch cloth, needlework frames, and several notions. We are beginning our site with the materials we currently carry, but will expand as we hear what items our customers wish to have available to them.
We know the hours of loving care which is invested in each needlepoint or cross stitch project, and know that you want the best materials to be used. Let us provide you with those materials.
